It's been a long time, everyone! !
Today, June 5th is World Environment Day 🌎💚
✔️ What is World Environment Day?
It is also a day to stop the loss and destruction of the global environment and ecosystems, and to recognize the importance of environmental conservation and protection.
Climate change, disasters, and environmental destruction are becoming more and more unstoppable.
In the world, a large number of trees, corals and their species are disappearing in large numbers, forest disasters continue, and the ecosystem is getting closer and closer to destruction and loss.
We must rapidly and significantly reduce greenhouse gas emissions to prevent the growing loss of infrastructure, which is based on life and biodiversity . It means that it is very important to move to , think, and act .
I also had the experience of studying abroad in Australia for about three years, and when I was there during the period when forest disasters caused tremendous damage, I began to think about environmental issues again.
I remember being shocked when I saw a beeswax wrap for the first time when I went to a market like a market held on Sundays in Australia🐝
I started using beeswax wrap instead of wrap, and the concept of throwing it away after using it disappeared all at once, and I've been using it for about 3 years now!
100 % Organic Reusable Set of 3 Beeswax Wraps 🍯
Eco-friendly wrap With a cute design, it can be used to wrap and store vegetables, fruits, sandwiches, sweets, etc., or it can be used as a container for hospitality, so if you are interested, please check it out✨
✔️ Origin and history of World Environment Day, how Japan is involved
World Environment Day was established by the United Nations General Assembly on Friday, December 15, 1972. This enactment was adopted by the joint proposal of Japan and Senegal, and it can be seen that Japan is also greatly involved in World Environment Day.
In conjunction with World Environment Day on June 5th, [UNEP (United Nations Environment and Development Program)], which was established to protect the global environment, announces a different theme each year, and aims to find solutions to the world's environmental problems. It is working.
World Environment Day was born in 1972 at the United Nations Conference on the Human Environment held in Stockholm, Sweden. More than 110 countries around the world participated in the conference, and a global intergovernmental meeting on the theme of environmental issues was held.
The Declaration, which consists of the preamble to the 7th article of the Common View and the 26 principles of common belief, was adopted at that time.
The Stockholm Declaration (Declaration of the Human Environment).
✔️ What is the theme for World Environment Day 2022?
For about 23 years since 1999 , the host country has held a commemorative ceremony on June 5th every year, highlighting the importance of various environments on the earth and setting a different theme each year to deepen understanding.
Well, the theme for 2022 is...
Only One Earth .
The focus will be on the need to live sustainably in harmony with nature and the possibilities of moving towards a greener lifestyle through policies and our choices.
This year marks the 50th anniversary of the 1972 Stockholm conference.
The host country, Sweden, celebrated the 50th anniversary by hosting a high-level meeting "Stockholm+50" on June 2nd and 3rd.
What is a sustainable life in harmony with nature?
What kind of things can you do...?
After all, I think that it is easiest to incorporate what you are using in your personal life.
Let's take 3R as an example😊
For example, compost is a recycling method that composts raw garbage♻️
Don't waste paper that has been used once, such as a coffee dripper. You can reuse it by changing it to a stainless steel coffee dripper that can be used many times♻️
Recently, everyone is familiar with personal bags, personal bottles, tumblers, etc. Reduce the generation of garbage such as plastic bags and PET bottles ♻️
At ECONAWA, we have many products that can change your daily life.
Not only can you see how to use the product and details online, but please feel free to contact us from the inquiry form 😊

In 1999, the first host country was Japan, which proposed the establishment of World Environment Day.
The theme at that time was Our Earth Our Future Just Save It .
I also learned for the first time after researching this time, but although it is not well known to the whole country or the general public, Japan was in a very important position and was deeply involved in this World Environment Day. I understand.
Face the ongoing environmental problems, think about what we can do now, be conscious and take action.
Protecting the environment is important for us, who live with the benefits of nature.
With today's World Environment Day and June as Environment Month, it's a good time to think about what we can do and where we can start, so let's spread the movement together with econawa! ! !
